Gourmet Ghetto Wine Walk - Moved to March 9th!

Sample local small production wines (along with some craft beers and mead) and enjoy small bites at participating businesses along Shattuck Ave. & Vine St.  Bring your sweetie or some friends for a fun evening to sip, stroll and shop for a good cause  proceeds benefit the Martin Luther King Middle School!  
Local and regional wineries are paired with participating neighborhood shops - hosting businesses will have a variety of special tastings  think chocolate, gelato, local honey, soups, cheese, pizza, and other sweet and savory bites!
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 day of the event.  Check in at our sales/will call tent starting at 4:30pm on the day of the event for your map of participating shops and instructions.  Price includes a commemorative Gourmet Ghetto tasting glass!

Culinary Tour of the Gourmet Ghetto
Saturdays 10am to 1pm $88/person Enjoy behind-the-scene experiences with "Epicurean Concierge" Lisa Zander and her team in a revolving selection of restaurants and food shops, conversations with the area’s chefs and food purveyors, as well as a mouth-watering assortment of tastings and samples. Stops on the tour through the historic culinary mecca will include the original Peet’s Coffee in Walnut Square, the eclectic food shops at Epicurious Gardens, the Vintage Berkeley Wine Shop, and the area’s weekly all-organic Farmers’ Market. Along the way, tour participants will get to learn more about and taste local artisan edibles. Selections and stops on the tour will be changed seasonally, making the tour perfect for both local foodies as well as out-of-towners wishing to experience North Berkeley’s “Gourmet Ghetto” from a unique perspective. The tour will also delve into the area’s fascinating history in the collective movement, and highlight the artisan shops, galleries, and boutiques which have made Shattuck Avenue and Vine Street their home.
