2017 Gourmet Ghetto Wine Walk

Thursday March 9th, 5-8pm Tickets $25 advance, $30 at door
Benefit for Martin Luther King Middle School PTA & ACLU

Tickets available online via Brown Paper Tickets

or at these local shops:  ACCI Gallery -1652 Shattuck Ave. and M.Lowe & Co. Jewelers - 1519 Shattuck Ave. (save the fee!)

Sample local small production wines (along with some craft beers) and enjoy small bites at participating businesses along Shattuck Ave. & Vine St. Bring some friends or plan a date night for a fun evening to sip and stroll the Gourmet Ghetto – and proceeds benefit Berkeley's Martin Luther King Middle School along with the ACLU.  Don't miss the poster show by famed lithographer David Lance Goines at M. Lowe & Co. - he will donate sales during the event to the ACLU!

Local and regional wineries are paired with participating neighborhood shops - hosting businesses will have a variety of sweet and savory bites – think chocolate, gelato, soups, cheese, breads, nuts, jams, oils, etc.

On the day of the event, check in at our sales/will call tent starting at 4:30pm (at corner of Vine & Shattuck) for your map of participating shops and then visit in any order you wish.  Price includes a commemorative Gourmet Ghetto tasting glass!

The event will feature wines from Fenestra, Lynda Tranel Wines, Stomping Girl Wines, Eden Canyon, Fat Grape Winery (sulfite-free!), Treasure Island Wines, and others from Northern California's growing regions poured at our
participating businesses including Books Inc., Apriori Designs, Spokes Bike Shop, Soop, Guacamole 61, Alegio Chocolate, The Cheese Board,
M. Lowe & Co. Jewelers, ACCI Gallery, Himalayan Crafts, Lobelia Boutique, and Thornwall Properties.  Our own Vintage Berkeley Wines, Saul's Restaurant, Nico's Hideaway, The Cheese Board, Victory Point Game Cafe, and the recently opened AgroDolce Osteria Siciliana will be pouring favorites from their own selections.
